Baltimore Banner highlights MWHC’s Woman’s Industrial Exchange project

(March 30, 2023) The Baltimore Banner recently featured MWHC’s unique project, Memories of the Woman’s Industrial Exchange, which will preserve the memories of the workers and volunteers who shaped the Woman’s Industrial Exchange (WIE) into a well-recognized Baltimore historic landmark.

Reporter Clara Longo de Freitas spoke with project head and MWHC board member Dr. Amy Rosenkrans as well as former WIE waitress Layne Bosserman to showcase the rich history of the building and the remarkable women who made it last for over a century. Click on image to read more.
