On February 28, 2020, Maryland Women’s Heritage Center’s Board of Directors and supporters spent the afternoon at Goucher College dedicating and unveiling the William G. Pomeroy Foundation suffragist marker on the National Votes for Women Trail. This marker honors the women of Goucher who made significant contributions to the suffragist movement. The single largest group of college suffragists to picket the White House in 1917 were Goucher students.
