(March 10, 2023) Eleven MWHC board members and friends travelled to Maryland Public Television‘s (MPT) production studio in Owings Mills on Tuesday March 7, 2023 to serve as pledge night volunteers.
MPT has called on MWHC in the past for its expertise in women’s history topics. As recently as February and March, board members Dr. Amy Rosenkrans and Dr. Ida Jones contributed to live discussions that took place after recent showings of Harriet Tubman: Visions of Freedom and Becoming Frederick Douglass.
Funds raised by MPT pledge drives support children’s programming, entertainment specials, classroom education, and community outreach of all kinds. We are proud to be a part of MPT’s programming and fundraising! (See names below photo.)
